Middle Georgia Family Photography – The Hale Family
Good afternoon everybody! I wanted to share these amazing pictures I took during a Middle Georgia family photography session with the Hale family! These guys have such a special place in my heart because they have been with me since the start of my photography career and have always been such amazing supporters. I’ve gotten to watch their two sons grow over the years! They are all about some baseball and spend many days at the baseball park and playing with their handsome dog, Dax. By the way, photographing a dog isn’t always the easiest but he was so well behaved like a true model. I had so much fun spending the afternoon and making memories with this sweet family and can’t wait for more photo shoots. I always know my evening with them will be filled with smiles and lots of laughter! Don’t worry mom and dad, we will make sure you two get in the pictures!
If you have any inquiries on a family photo shoot please see the contact page on my website and I will be get back to you as quickly as possible! Spring is in full bloom and I think it’s safe to say it will be warm here on out so it’s the perfect time for photos! Currently in my life, I’m waiting on our dream home to be completed and planning a trip with my daughter and her fiancé to Alaska! We are going to take their engagement photos and it’s going to be absolutely stunning with Alaska’s breathtaking views behind them. We might even do a bit of fishing while we are there, you never know! I can’t wait to share them with you soon. I hope everyone has a blessed and safe weekend!
Happy Hump Day everybody! Today, I’m sharing a love story that lead to a beautiful Middle Georgia wedding. Sunny and Bret met almost 4 years ago on Match.com. They became friends, and for their first date he picked her up from Dakota Ranch in his red ’97 Corvette. They fell in love at first sight and immediately became best friends. They were 800 miles apart, and in April 2016 she reached out to him to see if he was seeing anyone. She prayed that he would say no because she wanted to be with him! Well perfect timing it was, he was single! They began communicating again, and after just a few short months of visiting, he sold his corvette to move back to Georgia to be with her! They’ve been in love ever since. Even though he sold his favorite car, his big blue eyes and huge heart confirmed that he was the perfect match!
Fast forward to April 14, 2018. They vowed everlasting love to each other on Dakota Ranch once again! It was such a gorgeous wedding down to the details of the food. His brother is a gourmet chef and provided food, and I have to say it was so delicious! I am so glad I got to capture this special day for Sunny and Bret. They are such a happy couple, and I know they have such a magical future ahead.
If you have an inquires for your wedding day, please see my contact page on my website, and I will be getting back to you as soon as possible! I hope everyone’s week is going great and looking forward to the weekend, I know I am!
Happy Monday everyone! I wanted to post these beautiful family portraits I did for The Maine Family. We have known them for a long time since we used to be neighbors and I also met Stacey since she is a nurse practitioner and have been friends ever since! My son, Shane, use to play with Jake when they were younger. Jake is a senior at Houston County and will be attending Georgia Southern in the fall while Madison is a junior at GSU as well! Jackson is huge into soccer so maybe we will see him playing the big leagues one day. They are such a sweet family and I’m so glad I got to photograph these beautiful memories that they can cherish forever. Family Photography can seem a little overwhelming with picking outfits and making everyone smile at the same time but they made it look so easy!
If you have any inquiries on your next Family Photography Session please see the Contact Page on my website and I will be getting back to you as quickly as possible! Spring is finally here and its the perfect time to get everyone dressed up for some gorgeous photos before the gnats come out LOL! This has been the busiest but exciting spring yet with so many senior and family sessions and several weddings too. I am definitely staying busy but it’s always worth it because its what I love to do! Make sure you reach out to me so I can plan your next session with you! I hope everyone has a blessed and stress free week ahead of them!!
Happy Saturday everyone! In my last post I mentioned a beautiful children’s portrait I shot recently, and I wanted to share it with you! How absolutely beautiful is Regan!! That gorgeous long, red hair is a show stopper. I got the pleasure of photographing her when she born seven years ago. Time sure does fly fast with kids. I became good friends with her mom through work and she reached out to me when they were in town for spring break and we had so much fun. I could definitely see modeling in her future. She is just so sweet and patient, which are always great qualities to have in a photo shoot! I’m so glad I got to see them when they came in to town and hopefully there will be many more photo shoots to come!
Children’s Portraits are a precious way to document your child’s growth and a great memory to look at down the road. My son, Shane, recently found his 90’s portrait and hung it up in his house for fun. LOL! I’m sure we all have some embarrassing one too, so I try and keep my photos a timeless style. Speaking of Shane, I cant wait to take some pictures of Baby Barrett as he gets older even though I’m not quite ready for him to grow up yet!
If you have any inquires on a children’s portrait please see my contact page on my website and I will be getting back to you as soon as possible! I hope everyone has a great weekend!!
Introducing Mary and Jaime Bixler!! I had such a pleasure photographing this Middle Georgia wedding and it was absolutely stunning! This couple was so easy to photograph because their connection is undeniable and the happiness of starting their lives together was gleaming off their faces. They love horses and own a few of their own and have such a free spirit. The wedding details were perfect down to a T! The venue was Tryphenas Gardens which was absolutely stunning and has so many unique aspects. Its always easier as a bride to work with a venue who pays attention to details to make your wedding just as you dreamed and for the best experience for the guests! The bouquet was made by Flaura Botanica and they were simply gorgeous! I wish so many happy years to come for this sweet couple!!
I have a personal love for Tryphenas Garden as a middle Georgia Wedding venue and have become good friends with the family who owns and runs this beautiful venue so I’m always so excited when I get to go and photograph out there! My daughter Allyson will be marrying the love of her life here next May and seriously cant wait!! If you have any inquires about photography please see my contact page on my website and I will be getting back to you as quickly as possible! Its the perfect time to do a family photo shoot and children portraits. I have a stunning children’s portrait coming very soon and I cant wait to show you!
I hope everyone is excited about Friday as I am!! I hope you all have a blessed and happy weekend!
Happy Tuesday everyone!! I wanted to share one of my favorite Middle Georgia couple sessions recently with this sweet couple who has inspired this post. They were such a great reminder to keep the love alive in marriage and after so many years they make it look so easy! I think its really important to remember to take time with the person you love and do things together to keep creating the bond that brought you together in the first place. Even when times get hectic its important to cherish the moments with the special people in our lives. Its was such a honor to be about to photograph these memories for them. I think its so special to see a couple still want to take couple portraits together because after awhile they just don’t always seem so important but they are and to the rest of your family to be able to cherish as well!
This is really was special to me because my husband and I have finally starting building our dream home and even though we don’t have children living with us anymore we plan to fill our home with lots of dogs, family and grandchildren! Its a start to a bunch of beautiful memories for the Sams and I seriously cant wait to share it with the people I love. This photo shoot goes to show its not just about the pictures but the memories that go along with it and its just one of the reasons why I love being a photographer.
If you have any inquires on doing a couple photo shoot please see the contact page on my website and I will be getting back to you as quickly as possible. Spring is in full bloom. Even though its been pretty chilly these few weeks, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it will stay warm soon so I can have beautiful spring photo shoots like this one!
It was such a pleasure to be photographing this couple because their happiness radiated throughout the entire Engagement Session! Emily and Ben are both attending UGA right now and planning to get married June 2nd at Hummingbird Hill Farms. I just recently went to visit this venue and its absolutely gorgeous so I cant wait for their wedding! I know they have a lifetime of happiness ahead of them and I’m so glad I got to capture their engagement photos!
Jessica & Darren
Congrats to this beautiful couple on their new engagement! Its was such a pleasure photographing this engagement session for this special moment in their lives. Jessica is a newly graduated nurse that I met at another wedding I was shooting for when she was in the wedding party. I’m happy to announce that her and Darren will be getting married October 27th at Wedding Barn at L’Horne and its going to be such gorgeous fall wedding!
Hillary & Josh
This amazing couple is getting married tomorrow Whoo Hoo!! I am so excited for Josh and Hillary on their new adventure as Husband and Wife. I know they will create a lifetime of happiness and Disney memories. Hillary, like myself, is a HUGE Disney fan and they are even honeymooning at Disney too, how awesome!! They will be getting married at Hummingbird Hill Farms and will be starting their marriage on a family farm in North Georgia. That sounds pretty amazing to me!
Brooklyn and James
How gorgeous is the newly engaged couple? I had such a blast shooting Brooklyn and James Engagement Session to prepare for their spring wedding at Hudson Valley Farms which is going to be such a perfect venue. I got to know Brooklyn through her work as a hair and makeup artist and let me tell you she is amazing! This happy couple is currently spending their engagement enjoying the outdoors and their new home, so much fun!
Another beautiful Middle Georgia Senior Session starring Veronica! Veronica is graduating from Mercer University Law school, so this is a real celebration! What an amazing accomplishment for this bright young lady. She was such a pleasure to work with and has such a gorgeous smile. We did the photo shoot on her own stomping grounds at Mercer and the pictures came out stunning. I’m a huge fan of taking pictures at this beautiful campus so I was so excited to know she was graduating from there. Veronica has such a vibrant personality, so it was very easy capturing her excitement for graduating. I was so honored to be able to capture such an outstanding achievement for her and her family that I know will be cherished and was well deserved. We all can imagine how Law school can be so I hope she takes this summer to relax as much as possible!
This is the perfect time to book your senior session whether its high school or college. I would love to help photograph some amazing memories for your family to cherish too. The weather is finally starting to warm up and that is the best time for photo shoots, so make sure you see the contact page on my website and I will get back to you as quickly as possible! Now as for my life when I’m not being a nurse or photographer, I’m eagerly watching my dream home get built and I am so excited for it! I love to to do photo shoots out on our property because of the beautiful natural landscape. You can check out some photo shoots I have done out there here.
I hope everyone had a great start to the week but no worries we are almost half way to the weekend!!
This past fall I photographed a beautiful Middle Georgia Wedding for the Shaw’s and it turned out absolutely gorgeous. I’m not just saying that because I’m now related to them but it truly was stunning. Bri was such a gorgeous bride and can we talk about that smile? I’ve photographed this adorable couple back when they were still dating and its always such a blast. Jimmy may come off shy but he sure is goofy and knows how to make Bri laugh, and if I’ve learned anything, that’s a very important part of any marriage!
I was so excited to be able to capture these amazing memories for Bri and Jimmy at such a beautiful location. The wedding venue is a privately owned lake property in Macon and was the very first wedding put on there and everything went so smoothly! I’m praying that they will publicly start having weddings because this property is absolutely gorgeous! Bri’s stunning bouquet was made by Roy Lamb Floral Event Design and they are the prettiest flowers I’ve ever seen! This was such a beautiful fall wedding and I just cant get enough of these pictures!
If you have any inquires on photography for your special day please visit the contact section on my website and I will be getting back with you as soon as possible! I always love when I get the chance of shooting for a wedding because its what makes photography my passion by capturing all the special moments for your wedding and even the unexpected ones! Wedding season is on its way and I’m so excited for what is in store. Next spring my daughter will be getting married and I seriously cannot wait!! I hope everyone has a blessed week and had a great weekend!
This family photo shoot is so special to my heart because it is my first grandson, Barrett Edward Sams! My son and his lovely wife had their first child on October 18, 2017 and our lives have been so blessed every since! If anyone has been following “Bears” story, you know he didn’t have the simplest of starts into this world. He was born 3 months early and had to stay a few months in the NICU with his mom, dad, and the rest of the family by his side. He was released in time to come home for Christmas and has been doing nothing but growing and smiling ever since!
I decided to do this family photo shoot out at our land because I know very soon Bear will be running around playing in the fields. This will be the start of the beautiful memories we will make in our new home. He has been such a joy in everyone’s lives and I make my way over to see him every free second I have available. I can’t wait to take a thousand more pictures of him as he grows into the big boy we predict him to be one day. For now, I’m just going to snuggle up with him while he is still a sweet little chunk.
I absolutely love family photo shoots because these pictures will be cherished forever. If you have any inquires about scheduling your own family photo shoot please check out the contact form on my website and I will get back to you as quickly as possible. For now I’m going to go celebrate an early Easter dinner and hang out with the main attraction, Bear! I hope everyone has a blessed weekend and a very Happy Easter!
