The Sams’ Newest Addition

This family photo shoot is so special to my heart because it is my first grandson, Barrett Edward Sams! My son and his lovely wife had their first child on October 18, 2017 and our lives have been so blessed every since! If anyone has been following “Bears” story, you know he didn’t have the simplest of starts into this world. He was born 3 months early and had to stay a few months in the NICU with his mom, dad, and the rest of the family by his side. He was released in time to come home for Christmas and has been doing nothing but growing and smiling ever since!

I decided to do this family photo shoot out at our land because I know very soon Bear will be running around playing in the fields. This will be the start of the beautiful memories we will make in our new home. He has been such a joy in everyone’s lives and I make my way over to see him every free second I have available. I can’t wait to take a thousand more pictures of him as he grows into the big boy we predict him to be one day. For now, I’m just going to snuggle up with him while he is still a sweet little chunk.

Senior Session – Taylor

Middle Georgia Senior Session – Taylor

Its that time of the year again for all the eagerly waiting high school seniors to walk across the stage into adult hood (or so they think!) LOL. Senior sessions are always exciting for me because I get to document a new step in someone’s life. My beautiful model for my Middle Georgia Senior Session is Taylor who is graduating from Americas – Sumter High school this year. Congrats, girl!! Although Taylor was a bit shy at first by the time we were done shooting she could rock any vogue pose you gave her! One of the most interesting parts about being a photographer is getting people comfortable in front of the camera; adding some jokes and laughs always seems to do the trick. I always try and create a comfortable atmosphere for any client and it results in the most beautiful pictures that they will have for a life time.

It was such a beautiful day to have this session and I just adore these pictures. My husband and I recently bought land to build on and now its one of my favorite places to photograph my sessions, and so I’m always so excited when people love it out there too. I actually have my very own senior this year – my daughter, Allyson, who is graduating from Kennesaw State and awaiting her journey to Vet school. I understand the sense of accomplishment and how proud parents are for their kids. This is what makes senior sessions so special to me! Teen Spring Photo Shoot- Savannah

This may be one of the coldest starts to spring in Middle Ga than we have had before, but having this teen spring photo shoot with Savannah was so much fun. I always love having models who have a cool and unique sense of style. They always make for an awesome photo shoot! We chose the photo shoot location in Downtown Macon for a very young and urban vibe. As a photographer, I love capturing the beauty of the models in my shoots and is was very easy to do with Savannah. Can you believe she is only 15?! She is growing into a beautiful young lady, and I cant wait to take more pictures with Savannah. I’m always so excited for single photo shoots because you can always find places and backdrops that really capture the essence of the person. I feel like this shoot turned out beautifully. Savannah is not only a gorgeous girl but she is extremely musically talented! She is using these photos as her album cover and I cant wait to take a listen.

Middle Georgia Wedding

Introducing Mr and Mrs Davenport! We enjoyed every detail at this gorgeous Middle Georgia wedding at the lovely Plantation Farms. Kristin and Joel are a couple we will not soon forget! I love watching the interaction between a newly wed couple. Watching the kissing, laughing and true love is so beautiful. Every moment of each wedding is so special and so awesome to experience. When Cindy told me she wanted to do a family photo session with her mother, I had no idea how much fun it would actually be! Fran has the most amazing smile and love of life. Her laughter and humor kept us all in stitches the entire photo session. Capturing precious moments like this is why I love photography. When Barbara, Babs as we all know her, asked me to schedule her and her husband for their couple portrait session I was so excited! I have had the opportunity to photograph them before and they are so much fun! Babs and Jimmy are such a fun spirited couple who love spending time together and with their fur babies. Riding on their Harley Davidson motorcycle is definitely a favorite past time for them both! They wanted to show the beautiful spring colors and blooms that are so gorgeous in the Middle Georgia area. Portrait photography is such a great way to show one’s love for each other as these two do so well!

Engagement session Casey and Holly

Casey and Holly were so amazing together during their engagement session! They started off as high school sweethearts, dating ever since Holly was in the 9th grade. Casey had watched Holly for sometime before he finally gathered up enough nerve to approach Holly and ask her out on a date. He had been intimidated by Holly’s beauty, which you can see in their stunning engagement session images. Casey and Holly went on their first date, Mexican and a movie, and the rest is history. They both absolutely love Merle, their gorgeous chocolate lab, which they take with them for walks and visits to the park. Casey and Holly enjoy hunting, fishing, shopping and ice cream dates at the local ice cream parlor! Family is important to them both and they enjoy family gatherings as well.

We had so much fun at the engagement session, evening getting some amazing sunset images too. These two were so easy to photograph, laughing together and showing how truly in love they are. Merle probably had the most fun chasing his favorite tennis ball and collecting sticks! I can’t wait for Casey and Holly’s wedding this year. I am honored to be chosen for such an important time in their lives!

I have watched Tenley from the time she was in her mother’s belly during her maternity session until now and it’s so special to be part of her life!
